We are excited to announce that Home & Design magazine has featured one of our latest projects in their Fall 2024 Architecture issue. This feature showcases the transformation of Salona Village II, where we worked closely with MV Architects, Wellhouse & Co., and Studio 37 Cabinetry to reimagine and revitalize a McLean residence, bringing fresh life and sophistication to the space.
The article, “Timeless Look,” delves into the meticulous renovation of an 11,600-square-foot home. Initially, the house posed several design challenges, with outdated features that disrupted the overall flow and curb appeal. Our founder, Jonathan Smith, took on the challenge to transform the space into an elegant yet functional home, ensuring that every detail enhanced its beauty and livability.
A Glimpse into the Project
The renovation involved a full overhaul of both the interior and exterior. We focused on creating a more open, inviting space while maintaining the home’s character. The kitchen, now a bright and welcoming centerpiece, features custom cabinetry, marble-look quartz countertops, and warm wood tones that add to the home’s inviting atmosphere. The exterior was refreshed with thoughtful architectural changes, including the addition of a grand porch that transformed the home’s curb appeal.
This project exemplifies Brush Arbor’s commitment to merging practicality with aesthetic excellence. We carefully preserved elements of the home’s original design while incorporating contemporary touches to meet the needs of modern living.
